Darren Davis, multi-award-winning photographer presents in our first of our Seminar Series.

Darren Davis is an Associate & Accredited Professional Photographer, with the Australian Institute Of Professional Photography specialising in Portraiture, Illustrative Portraiture & Landscape.

In 2017 & 2018, Darren achieved no fewer than twenty awarded images, at State, National and International level. These included Seven Silver Awards at the Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA’s). In 2017, his work also received two accreditation’s from the Trierenberg Super Circuit, held annually – the worlds largest photo art contest.

Darren is a passionate Professional. His love of photography can be seen in many of his fine images. Rather than wanting to ‘take’ photographs, Darren’s passion is to create or ‘make’ photographs.

In his own words, “it is far more rewarding, for me, to create an image, than to rely on a single attribute.

Photography, according to Darren, is the ability to take a photograph that tells a story, or one that asks many questions. His style is unique, his concepts diverse …. he is a maker of photographs, not just a taker of them …..
